IT Cosmetics, one of my favorite cosmetics lines has a 5-piece Anti-aging Color Collection, the Hello Beautiful! collection, that will be offered on QVC beginning midnight tonight (March 18, 2013). You can understand how excited I was to see a package from IT Cosmetics containing the Hello Beautiful collection before its launch to test.
The collection includes two of my IT Cosmetics favorites like:
IT Cosmetics Hello Lashes™ 5-in-1 Mascara– this mascara is like an eyelash lift in a tube. It provides volume and lift. I always receive compliments on my lashes whenever I wear this.
Heavenly Luxe Buffing Airbrush Foundation Brush – all of IT Cosmetics’ brushes are divine!!! (see review) They’re super soft, don’t shed, easy to clean, and applies and blends products to a beautiful, flawless finish.
A NEW product included in this set, that I am so excited about is the Tightline™ Full Lash Length Black Mascara Primer. If you love the dark smokey eyes, that seem to begin before the lash line, it is in part, due to a technique called tight lining. I honestly sometimes dread doing this myself. IT Cosmetics has made it easier to achieve this look with the Tightline™ Full Lash Length Black Mascara Primer since it allows you to coat each lash beginning at the root. The brush is to thank for this.
The NEW Vitality Flush 4-in-1 Reviver Lip and Cheek Stain Stick in Je Ne Said Quoi provides a nice long-wear flush of pink, suitable for most skin tones, all while providing a boost of hydration infused with a powerful stain that doesn’t dry out your lips or skin.
The Hello Beautiful! collection also includes the Celebration Foundation, which is available in 5 shades: Fair, Light, Medium, Tan or Rich.
FYI: Rich is the deepest shade for women of color. I would compare this to maybe NC35/NC40 in MAC. For it being the deepest shade, it is still too light for me, which makes me sad. I’d love to see how well this foundation fairs with my skin. Hopefully, IT Cosmetics will expand into darker shade ranges.
I love the packaging; the exterior of the box is very welcoming with ‘Hello Beautiful’ neatly scripted on its front. IT Cosmetics packaging is always simple, practical, yet sophisticated. The brush comes in a protective casing, as do all IT Cosmetics brushes.
