On Saturday, June 11, 2011 Janique of HerGoodybag.com (see her event coverage HERE) and I stopped by the Brooklyn Stone Boutique for their “Pucker Up” event featuring FSL Cosmetics. During the event, Kimberly Riley from FSL Cosmetics gave mini lip makeovers, and you were also allowed to shop the exclusive styles sold at the boutique. I love showing support to black-owned businesses, especially women.
FSL Cosmetics will be sold at Brooklyn Stone Boutique
FSL Cosmetics, which stands for “Feel Good, Smell Good, Look Good,” is a line of natural lipsticks and lip glosses created by cosmetic engineer and chemist Kimberly Riley in 2009. She gave a detailed description of the line and the various botanicals used to create the lipsticks and glosses. Each lipstick and lip gloss has a distinct scent/flavor that will sure have your lips smelling good enough to eat! Some of the scents range from vanilla to chocolate to pina colada.
Both the lip glosses and lip sticks are hypo-allergenic and paraben free and created with an antioxidant-potent formula that will hydrate and protect the lips from the natural elements.
