1/2 Onion

1 Tomato

Few Sprigs of Cilantro

Tspn Lime Juice (I cheated with the bottled kind lol)

Salt & Pepper to taste

Chop up everything, add lime juice & mix

Enjoy!

Weekend Recap – BBQ’n & Drunken Breakfast

Saturday, I did my hair as usual.  My stylist was VERY late, so I didn’t get out early like I usually do.  I wasn’t upset because she went out the night before to celebrate her birthday.  It happens.

My family was over (my 2nd oldest sister, my bro-in-law, niece & nephew), so we grilled.  I wish I took a picture of the food. Oh well.

Great start to a sunday morning! Sunday, my friends (Shannon, Chris Foxx), some other people  (MisswhoeverUR) and I did the drunk brunch at the sunburnt cow in the city.  The offer of unlimited drinks with brunch for $18 was appealing, however, it was hot as hell outside where they had us, and the drinks were warm, and mediocre to say the least.  I prefer quality over cost any day.  I guess they figure people will be drunk while eating, so they won’t be able to taste how good or bad the food is.

Here’s what most of us got…

Omelet of the Day – Asparagus, Tomatoes and cheddar.

Hamburger with the Lot – Chris got this & he couldn’t eat it because he was too hot & hungover from the night before.

Buttermilk Banana Pikelets – These were very dry & the syrup was watered down.

Moo Mary – It was okay… Just way to spicy for me.

My outfit

NOTW – Gala & Resort

My nails and toes don’t match.  Sometimes I don’t match either of the two just for fun. Sometimes certain colors don’t look as good on my finger nails as they would on my toes…

I took the time to do a french nail – myself.  It came out pretty decently.  I actually wore this color without the french all of last week.  I thought it would look cool/nice as french.

Essie Anniversary Gala over Essie Ballet Slippers

This (Essie Lapis of Luxury)  is what I have on my toes. I like this much better than the Tarte Deco.  Plus, blue is one of my favorite colors!

Sandals are from Banana Republic.

Preview: MAC Venomous Villains Collection

Women’s Wear Daily posted pictures of the MAC Venomous Villains Collection I mentioned in a post this past May, 2010.

The collection, which launches in September, will feature four of Disney’s most notoriously evil characters: Cruella De Vil (from 101 Dalmations); the Evil Queen (from Snow White); Maleficent (from Sleeping Beauty); and Dr. Faciller (from The Princess and The Frog).

This collection will also feature a new product called Magically Cool Liquid Powders.   This product, according to Jennifer Balbier, vice president of product development for MAC, is a “feather light powder that goes on like a mist and either sets or enhances foundation, but also lends dimensionality on naked skin.”  Sounds like a must-have product in my opinion.

What do you guys think?

Are you going to pick-up anything from this collection?
