It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Tarte Cosmetics. When the opportunity arose for me to review some of their newest products for spring and summer, I jumped on it. For the last month I’ve been using the Tarte Fresh Eyes Maracuja Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover Wipes, and WOW these things are amazing!
The Tarte Fresh Eyes Maracuja Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover Wipes are described as “Gentle, biodegradable waterproof eye makeup remover wipes infused with nourishing maracuja.”
I usually have trouble removing stubborn eye makeup, especially the waterproof kind. Mascaras and eyeliner would oftentimes linger around even after I’ve used makeup remover and cleansed my face. Can you say, raccoon eyes? Uh yeah, not good, right? However, after using the Tarte Fresh Eyes Maracuja Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover Wipes I noticed all of my eye makeup removed easier, and came off completely. After I washed my face, I didn’t have raccoon eyes, which I would experience after using other eye makeup removers. The wipes are gentle, and smell great, too!
For me, the wipes work better when you rest them on your eye for a few seconds then wipe away the eye makeup.

For me, depending on how much eye makeup I am wearing, I can sometimes get away with using half of a wipe

I learned something today: Tarte having makeup wipes!
The price is not bad for a mid to high range line like Tarte. I also love that they excluded their Amazonian clay which my skin does not love. I might nab these in the future.

I definitely want to try these! I recently used an eye makeup remover wipe in desperation at a friends house and it burned like heck. It was a generic brand, so hopefully these will be better. I liked what it did but not how it felt!

I LOVE makeup wipes, they have become a part of my everyday routine. I have to check these out! Great review. How moist are they? or how moist do they stay? I noticed sometimes the first few are moist but then they all eventually start to get dried out. Sometimes I wish they came in separate packing – each towelette in its own little pack.
Mine are still moist. I've read that some people received some that weren't moist, but even when I forget to close it, they're not dry. It would be awesome if they came in separate packs.
