I received the Laura Geller Dream Team: Blush-N-Brighten Baked Cheek Color & Dream Creams Lip Palette Duo in Apricot Berry from the QVC Beauty Breakfast I went to a few weeks ago.  This duo includes “gilded beige, coral, and berry shades.”  Shades I personally believe will fit every skin tone.

Take the guesswork out of makeup with this color-coordinated kit. First, liven up your cheeks with Blush-N-Brighten, a baked, color-correcting blush that flatters any skin tone. Next, use the lip brush to sweep on one of four complementary shades from the portable lip palette for a perfectly pulled-together look.  This baked blush is also free of mineral oil and parabens.  It is also loaded with the age-fighting, anti-oxidant protection of Centella Asiatica and White Tea Extracts (SOURCE).

Blush-N-Brighten Baked Blush

MY THOUGHTS:

At first glance it looks similar to MAC Mineralize Blush or skinfinsh.  The texture of it is very smooth, silky and light.  The colors in this baked blush blend together well, and make the perfect combination of color to add a nice, natural, brightening glow to my cheeks.

The compact it comes in is convenient since it is small & light weight, and is able to fit in your purse/makeup bag.  It also has a small mirror so you can ditch the extra mirror you may have in your bag.

I would definitely purchase this product for myself, and recommend to others.

Dream Creams Lip Palette

MY THOUGHTS:

I thought I’d be disappointed in this product.  The colors didn’t seem like they’d be too flattering on my complexion, and the product just looked a little thick & heavy at first.  Upon application, the Dream Cream glided on so smoothly.  I liked that it had good coverage that is buildable if you’d prefer a more intense color.

Another advantage of this palette is that the colors can be used together or alone, so it gives you the option of creating different looks and a limitless amount of shades.  I also like that it wasn’t heavy on my lips, and didn’t feel sticky.  The product lasts a good while without re-application, that is unless you eat or drink something.

Note: There is a slight (very light) vanilla scent, that goes away almost instantly, so it isn’t a bother.

I would definitely recommend both the Baked Blush and Dream Cream palette to you because it is good quality makeup with multiple uses at an affordable price. The Dream Team Kit is PERFECT (in my opinion) to achieve the ultimate, youthful summer glow!

Have you tried any Laura Geller products? If so, what?

  1. I like both products. They both seem to give you a natural look. Plus the fact that you have 4 glosses in one compact is very convenient as well as the blush with the mirror. Whats the pricing?

  2. I love Laura Geller products, I use her baked balance and brighten foundation compact in the shade tan and it blends ito my skin very well. I am african amrican with golden undertones. I also use her baked eyeshadows and lip palettes all are very good!!! Her spackle primer in bronze is a keeper too. Since I have started using her products first on myself, and second on some of my clients. Its hard for me to even think about using anything else unless I airbrush. Laura Geller products in my opinion should be a must in every artist makeup kit.
