I’ll admit, I do not have a single “signature” scent.  You know the scent that you’re supposed to have that when you walk into a room, people will know that you just walked in.  I totally break that rule.  Instead of one, I have .:gasp:. THREE!

In this post, I will introduce you to one of my favorite fragrances. Insolence by Guerlain is one of the three fragrance I have, and love.  If you can imagine the smell of purple (could be the violet in it?), I think this is what it would smell like.  .. I know it’s weird, but purple is my favorite color & this is what it smells like to me! Don’t judge me :o)  It has a nice scent.  A little goes a long way, and it lasts all day!

I was using My Insolence at first, until my boyfriend picked up for me Insolence by Guerlain, and I actually liked the regular Insolence better. I found that My Insolence had baby powderish notes to it, that I didn’t like, and it was a little too much on the citrusy side (in my opinion).

I think my boyfriend purchased Insolence by Guerlain from MACY*S.  I’ve been seeing varying price ranges so, I’m not going to post the price.

If you end up trying this, please let me know.

  1. ok, this is a nice series. I don’t very much ‘understand’ fragrance…When someone suggests one, i try and then I decide. Now that you are liking this one…I will check it next tym at MACY’s Counter…btw, that bottle its CUTE>>>> I wouldn’t mind decorating such empty bottles!!!

  2. I haven’t heard of this before but I love the packaging… I’ll have to check it out. I love Sheer Stella by Stella McCartney. It’s really fresh smelling, like how I’d picture sunshine to smell.

  3. @Sunny I’ve never smelled Stella McCartney’s perfumes. I’m going to try it one day. Thank you. I like how you said “sunshine in a bottle.”
