Last week, via my instagram account, I gave everyone a sneak peak at tarte’s latest beauty collection: tarte ‘journey to natural beauty’. This collection, which is available ONLY on February 5, 2013, exclusively on QVC, has some really cool, fun, and fashionable items. I’m loving the chic bag, that can double as a clutch for a night out on the town. What makes it even better, is that all of the products fit nicely into the bag with room for more!
The tarte ‘journey to natural beauty’ collection is a 6-piece collection that enables you to create a flawless, polished look in minutes using some of tarte’s fan favorites, as well as three new items:
NEW: brow architect™ shaper, liner & definer (retail $25)
tarte created a 3-in1 brow perfector to easily shape and define brows, so no more reaching for a separate concealer, brow comb, and pencil.
Tips: 1st Brush brows using the brow brush 2nd Hide strays and shape the brow using the underscoring concealer, which is more like a cream, but in powder form if that makes sense? 3rd Fill and define the brow with the universal pencil. 4th Brush your brows into place.
I like how natural my brows look after using this product. They don’t look at all stenciled on. I don’t have the halo-effect that I can’t stand to see that most girls are rocking nowadays.

airbrush finish bamboo foundation brush (retail $32)
This brush is truly amazing. I like to use it to buff in my foundation rather than apply it. My only issue with it is that it is hard to get into smaller areas with it, but, the overall application of product with this brush is amazing, and it is soft! I like that the brush with the ‘journey to natural beauty’ collection has the same design as the travel bag.
Amazonian clay 12-hour full-coverage foundation (retail price $38)

You can see my video review on this foundation on my youtube channel: MakeupbyKimPorter The limitation with this foundation, of course, is that the deepest shade is ‘deep’ so, if you’re any shade darker than me, this isn’t for you. I will not be able to use this shade once the summer comes. .:sigh:. I do like the natural finish, and to be a full-coverage foundation it is lightweight. Also, you really do not need a quarter-sized amount like they suggest.

Amazonian clay 12-hour blush (retail price $26)
tarte’s newest shade, ‘fearless’, which is a warm pink, adds a nice, warm, healthy glow, which instantly brightens up the face. It has shimmer. If you’re not a fan of shimmer, this blush may not be for you; however, when applied with a duo fiber brush you don’t get much shimmer. Honestly, on myself, the gold flecks look amazing on my skin; the blush does come off very pretty, and natural.
NEW Amazonian butter lipstick (retail price $24)

I love using the tarte foundation in Deep and the brush is amazing. It makes my foundation application so easy.
