My thoughts:
The E.L.F. Cosmetics Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths are a decent product for the price. You get what you pay for, especially good for removing face makeup (light foundation, powder, blush, eye shadow). Since it isn’t oil-based, it doesn’t do the best job in taking off waterproof mascara’s or liner. That’s not to say that they don’t work – it just takes some extra effort, more product and time to really remove the more difficult products. You may go through a lot of the E.L.F. Cosmetics Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths, but since it’s so cheap it shouldn’t be an issue.
I didn’t like…
…the heavy residue feeling it left after using them. So don’t think you can just get away with using the wipes without washing your face afterward.
I bought these because I thought I would be able to skip washing the makeup off on the nights I was coming home late from being out all night, and feeling super lazy. .:WOMP WOMP:. Aaaaaaand they were cheap. My favorite drugstore makeup remover wipe, hands-down is the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes ($6.99). If you have money to splurge, try Dermalogica’s PreCleanse.
Would I buy the E.L.F. Cosmetics Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths again? Probably not. I’ll use what I have now since I bought two packs. After those are done. I’m done with it. I’d rather have a product that does the job well all in one shot. Plus I do not like the sticky residue the E.L.F. Cosmetics Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths leave after using them.
