Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics is one of my favorite brands, especially when it comes to highly pigmented, colorful products for both lips and eyes, which is exactly what the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Creme Colour Concentrate exhibits. I already love the golden shade ‘Icarus’, which I’ve reviewed here previously. Now, I bring to you six other shades, which are from the Fall 2013 ‘Modern Craft’ Collection (read post here).
How to use Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Creme Colour Concentrate?
I am not kidding when I say that the uses for the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Creme Colour Concentrate are limitless. They can be used for the following:
– Eyeshadows
– Lip colors
– Eye liner
– Eyeshadow base to make your eyeshadows “pop”. Try ‘Vice’ under your favorite eyeshadow.
– ‘Grasshopper’ can be used to correct redness
– ‘Discipline’ is a pretty nude for my lips
What do I like about the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Creme Colour Concentrates?
Besides the fact that the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Creme Colour Concentrate have limitless uses, I love them because the color pay-off is amazing. With just a small amount, no primer or any other kind of base, you can see from the swatches below, just how pigmented and opaque the shades are.
The Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Creme Colour Concentrates are creamy. If you have oily lids, or lids with lots of folds, the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Creme Colour Concentrate may not work too well for you as a shadow, since it may crease. Creme Color Concentrates are non-drying, paraben-free, sulfate-free, and phthalate-free, and, of course, cruelty-free and vegan.

I have grasshopper and I love it!

Nice! How do you use grasshopper?
My experience with these was actually quite horrible. I tried using them as an eyeliner, and it smudged in my crease, and smudged in general. I tried using it as an eye shadow and it creased horribly, even over primer, within the hour. I used District as a red lippie, and that was perfect. I LOVE LOVE LOVE OCC but I just can't get on board with these. Maybe if I was a pro and had other uses for them!
I know that I can't use it on my lids past my crease, otherwise, it will crease like crazy.
I love the look of discipline!

I love cream shadows so these might be great for me, tho' as you mention, a bit on the pricey side. Gotta check the ingredients to make sure there's no peppermint oil in them like in the Lip Tars that I, sob, cannot wear

I have super oily lids so I figured these would crease on me.
I have not tried these yet but I have heard mixed reviews.
Can you tell us your experience using them as a shadow. I hear they crease like crazy.

I do not use it past my crease or else I will experience creasing… I did write that it may not work for people with lots of folds on their lids or oily lids.
I love those shades! And it is great to know that they have so many uses.
OCC makes crazy pigmented colors. I love that they are multi-taskers!

These remind me of the MUFE Flash Palette, great for editorial and toning down or changing colors, in real life it is more challenging to wear especially on the eyes. But def PRETTY 🙂
Those shades are beautiful but sadly I think I'll have to pass since I have lids that are super prone to creasing eyeshadow.

Wowsers… if I was still freelancing, I would totally grab these. I don't have a need for it, but man, this looks fun.
