NOTW: OPI’s Who The Shrek Are You & New Polishes Bought

I went to Ricky’s yesterday to pick up some stuff for my kit (q-tips & Ben Nye’s Final Seal).  Low & behold, Ricky’s had the whole OPI Shrek collection.  I contemplated getting the entire collection since the colors are nice. Although the store clerks offer to give me a good discount on all of the polishes if I bought them all was tempting, I figured it would be a waste since I already own colors similar or are the same as the ones in this new collection. I ended up buying just one, which he still gave me a discount on.

Here’s what Who the Shrek Are You looks like

What it looks like on my hands

It’s a nice color. I don’t like the consistency of the polish. It’s too streaky when applying I had to use 3 coats when I polished my nails.

I also picked up these polishes from this nail supply wholesaler (NailMax International 6000 Fort Hamilton & 60th st brooklyn) by my job.  Essie is $4 & OPI is $6

Left to Right: Anniversary Gala, Funky Limelight, Looking for Love, Flirty Fuschia, Ballet Slippers

NOTW: I have Miami on my Mind

I re-visited another color I over-wore last summer (2009) which was from OPI’s South Beach Collection.  Purple is my favorite color, and Done Out in Deco, is a beautiful lilac.  I love it against my complexion.

Do you have a nail polish color you keep re-visiting? If so, which and why?

NOTW – Bright & Perfect for Spring

Color: Neon 4 – Cosmic Blue

I purchased this Mattesse Nail Polish from Ricky’s last summer. I actually purchased at least 3 other Neon’s from this collection along with this one. This color looks great on my toes too. Perfect color for brown/tanned/bronzed skin.

Price: The polish was $3.99 (very affordable)

Lasting ability: Lasts a litle over a week no chipping or bubbling.

Where to buy: Ricky’s if there’s one near you or you can order on-line from Perfumania
