INGLOT INTRODUCES FREEDOM SYSTEM SINGLE PALETTES FOR EYESHADOWS, BLUSH AND PRESSED POWDERS

INGLOT introduces Freedom System single palettes, a unique method to arrange eye shadows, blush or pressed powder in reusable magnetic cases. With the new single Freedom System Palettes you are able to reuse the palette over and over limiting the amount of waste and remaining eco-friendly.
Owing to the magnetic locks, Freedom System cases can be combined freely creating “blocks” of cosmetics closed with one lid. This solution is extremely useful while working on makeup, and it reduces the space occupied by a huge collection of products to a minimum and also secures it perfectly.  Or if preferred, each of the cases can also be closed individually with a separate lid.

What will it cost you?

Freedom System Blush, empty palette $7.00

Freedom System Pressed Powder, empty palette $8.00

Freedom System Eyeshadows, empty palette $6.00

 My Thoughts:

I was first introduced to IT Cosmetics at the QVC Beauty event I attended recently.  Honestly, since they didn’t showcase darker shades at the event, I wasn’t quite sure how well their products would work for me.

Normally, when reaching for a full-coverage concealer I would go for my Make Up For Ever Full Coverage concealer.  “Bye Bye Under Eye” Concealer  is comparable as far as coverage, and both are waterproof.  When I first swatched & blended the “Bye Bye Under Eye” Concealer onto my hand, I was just amazed by the texture and how well it blended.  I couldn’t wait to test it out on my face since I have this troublesome dark spot near my jawline, and those annoying glasses marks.

As you can see from the photos,  the “Bye Bye Under Eye” Concealer covered up my dark spots (imperfections), and under eye dark circles pretty well.  I totally did not think I would need such a little amount to cover each area.  The product is thick and creamy, but not heavy, and provides amazing coverage.  It also moisturizes.  I like that it looks and feels like skin, too!

I wore the concealer on some of the hottest (and humid) days in New York City, and the “Bye Bye Under Eye” Concealer did not budge.   Needless to say, ‘I am sold.’

How did I apply it:

I applied the concealer using the IT Cosmetics “No Tug” Heavenly Luxe Dual Eyeshadow brush.  Yes, it says it’s for eyeshadow, but, the larger end of the brush is perfect for applying a soft layer of concealer & blending it in.  By the way, that brush is amazingly soft, not to mention I love the way it applied the concealer.

Would I recommend?

If you suffer from severe issues like redness and terrible dark circles I’d highly recommend giving this one a try.  A  0.28 oz tube of the “Bye Bye Under Eye” Concealer is $24.  Considering how little you use, it is a great price. You do have to be careful to not apply too much to areas where you have fine lines to avoid creasing or caking.  Make sure you set your concealer with a powder too!  This concealer can also be used all over your face as foundation, or it can be mixed with your favorite moisturizer to make a tinted moisturizer.  Because this product is waterproof, it is perfect to use on brides as well.

I do think the brand should expand its range of shades.

Pre-Review: Lush’s Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner

I’ve been converted into a Lush junky.  My husband surprises me with some of my favorite soaps from there every now and again.  Once Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner was released, I couldn’t wait to try it.  The only thing that held me back was the price tag.  I think it is pretty expensive.  I’m the type of person who slathers on the shower gel, lotion, body oil etc.  I couldn’t think about spending $29 for 7 oz of product that wasn’t going to last past a week.

The other day, since my sister fell-in love with my Sultana of Soap, she stopped by Lush Union Square to pick-up the soap for herself, and got me Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner.   She got me the 1.5 oz Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner.  She didn’t get one for herself because she said the scent was too strong, however, I love it.

The ingredients in Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner include, argan oil, cocoa butter, brazil nit oil, almond oil and shea butter.  The strongest notes are cocoa butter tinged witha  light scent of roses. After you shower, the scent lingers, but it isn’t too strong.  Your skin is left feeling super smooth and soft.

I really wish Lush would make a similar conditioner with the scent of Sultana of Soap, then I would be in HEAVEN!
