Review: Reviva Labs Hawaiian Seaweed Facial Cleansing Milk

I’ve heard of Reviva Labs before, and good things at that.  When Reviva Labs asked me to choose one or two of their products to review, I was more than happy to set aside my tried and true skincare staples, to start a new skincare regimen using Reviva Labs products.  I requested to try the Reviva Labs Hawaiian Seaweed Facial Cleansing Milk ($8.00), and the Hawaiian Seaweed Mask ($12.00).  Both products are amazing in my opinion.  In addition to receiving the cleansing milk and mask, I was also sent the Pomegranate Lactic Acid Exfoliant and their Makeup Primer #202, which I will review in another post.

After a little over a month of using the Reviva Labs Hawaiian Seaweed Facial Cleansing Milk, I must say that I am more than happy with the product, so much that I am contemplating replacing my favorite cleanser with the Reviva Labs Hawaiian Seaweed Facial Cleansing Milk for good.   Before I completely finish this product, I decided to finally post my review on it.

Hawaiian Seaweed’s valuable minerals help energize skin as the milky cleanser easily lifts out dirt, makeup and environmental debris. Hawaiian Seaweed’s magnesium helps soften skin, too! With an exact amount of proper viscosity vegetable oil, this formula is an effective day/night cleanser for any skin type.

My thoughts:  

First, I’d like to say, Id id have my reservations about how well this product was going to clean my skin.  I love when I have something that foams .:LOL:.  Yes, I know that foaming doesn’t necessarily mean cleaner skin, but, in my head it makes sense.  Please, let me live!

If you follow me on instagram, you already know that I love this cleanser, so lets get into why I am loving it so much.  During the winter months, even though I try my best to keep my skin hydrated by drinking tons of water and moisturizing, there are times when that’s just not enough.  I would say even after a few days of using the Reviva Labs Hawaiian Seaweed Facial Cleansing Milk my skin felt soft and smooth like butter!   Even though the cleansing milk feels a tad bit greasy when washing off, no residue is left behind – you’re left with clean, smooth, hydrated skin.  After using it, you don’t even need to apply a moisturizer, that’s how good it is!!!  Usually, by mid-day, my forehead is glistening away, and with this, that is not the case.

 
I’ve used the Reviva Labs Hawaiian Seaweed Facial Cleansing Milk both day and night, and I’ve even tried it to remove makeup on my face and eyes.  It works like a gem for both areas.  Just remember, when using the Reviva Labs Hawaiian Seaweed Facial Cleansing Milk as a makeup remover, repeat the cleansing for a second time. Before Reviva Labs sent over their Pomegranate Lactic Acid Exfoliant, I stopped using my Clarisonic just to see how well the cleansing milk worked.  My skin suffered no breakouts, clogged pores… nothing! So yeah, I fell in-love.  I did try using the cleansing milk with my Clarisonic, I didn’t like it.

Would I recommend the Reviva Labs Hawaiian Seaweed Facial Cleansing Milk?

I would definitely recommend the Hawaiian Seaweed Facial Cleansing Milk!  It’s perfect for all skin types, and it actually works for me and my oily t-zone.  I also love that it isn’t expensive.  I love when I don’t have to pay a ton of money for a product to work over an expensive product that doesn’t.
