Perlier Thermal Spa Thermo Renewing Scrub Jar

Being an iFabbo member, I received the Perlier Thermal Spa Thermo Renewing Scrub courtesy of Perlier to review.  I love having soft, smooth, glowing skin, which is why I exfoliate daily with my mesh shower gloves, but, sometimes using a scrub, scrub is just what the skin needs to really get rid of the dead skin.

The Perlier Thermal Spa Thermo Renewing Scrub from Perlier was created in Italy, concocted with a number of complex ingredients, rich in mineral salts, like water from the hot spring concession in an area of Abana Terme called Padua.  These ingredients aim to combat visible signs of aging, such as the appearance of dull-looking skin, and to smooth skin and rough areas.

My Thoughts:

The Perlier Thermal Spa Thermo Renewing Scrub isn’t like any scrub I’ve ever tried which are usually sea salt or sugar scrubs.  And if you’ve ever used a sea salt or sugar scrub, you know that the particles are usually rough, coarse, and can at times be too abrasive if you’re heavy handed; abrasions and sea salt makes for stingy, unhappy skin.

The Perlier Thermal Spa Thermo Renewing Scrub is gentle on the skin and exfoliates well.  It has a gel-like texture mixed with soft, smooth exfoliating beads and particles.  I even used the scrub with my mesh gloves (over-exfoliate much?), and my skin wasn’t harmed in the act. Perfect! The scrub worked extremely well on one of my toughest areas, my left elbow.  For some reason the skin there is a little rough, and dry.  The scrubs olive oil extract worked wonders in softening the area, and the beads and pumice helped aid in smoothing the area.

When I went to the Perlier Fall/Winter preview earlier this summer, this was a product I was looking forward to mainly due to the scent.  It reminds me of my favorite vacation spot, Puerto Vallarta.  It just took me to a place of relaxation, clarity and happiness.  If this is a preview of what Padua has to offer, count me in.  Italy is on my bucket list of places to visit.  Hopefully, I will be able to soon visit.

If you’re looking for a gentle, exfoliating scrub to add to your fall/winter skincare routine, you might want to try out the Perlier Thermal Spa Thermo Renewing Scrub.

    • I too have a heavy hand. I do love this scrub though. I used it last night before bed, and my skin was super soft, and it left a nice, light, clean fragrance.

  1. I love putting gel scrubs in the fridge before use for a refreshing pick me up in the morning! I want to try this badly!
