Twice a week, or whenever I have time, which is usually on a Sunday, I give myself at-home spa treatments. These treatments include facials, manicures and pedicures. Since using Reviva Labs skincare products, I have a new at-home spa facial regimen. After a few weeks of doing this, my skin is softer, smoother, and brighter. My skin looks healthier than ever. A coworker even commented that “I have to speak to your husband because you look like you are getting too much sleep. You look nice.” Another coworker stated that I had “the glow”… the pregnancy glow; however, I am not at all pregnant .:lol:.
Here is how to use Reviva Labs products for an at-home spa facial:
1. First, cleanse skin with the Hawaiian Seaweed Cleansing Milk.
2. After rinsing off the cleanser, apply the Reviva Labs Pomegranate/Lactic Acid Exfoliant. I love this exfoliant because it is gentle, and natural. You get immediate results, too.
3. Let the Exfoliant dry 3 to 4 minutes, then rub off with fingers. Rinse off any extra debris with water or wet washcloth.
4. Wait a few minutes, then apply the Reviva Labs Hawaiian Seaweed Face Mask in a medium to heavy coat and leave on for 20-30 minutes. 5. Remove with a warm wet face cloth. Your skin will already look brighter, fresher and feel softer.
6. Apply your moisturizer, or use the Reviva Labs Makeup Primer #202, which doesn’t only have to be used under makeup. It can serve as a one-of-a-kind moisturizer. It leaves the skin feeling soft as silk! It works well as a makeup primer, too! Review will come soon.

The tarte ‘journey to natural beauty’ collection is a 6-piece collection that enables you to create a flawless, polished look in minutes using some of tarte’s fan favorites, as well as three new items:
tarte created a 3-in1 brow perfector to easily shape and define brows, so no more reaching for a separate concealer, brow comb, and pencil.
Tips:1st Brush brows using the brow brush 2nd Hide strays and shape the brow using the underscoring concealer, which is more like a cream, but in powder form if that makes sense? 3rd Fill and define the brow with the universal pencil. 4th Brush your brows into place.
I like how natural my brows look after using this product. They don’t look at all stenciled on. I don’t have the halo-effect that I can’t stand to see that most girls are rocking nowadays.

My eyelashes look amazing! I used one coat then applied a second. After the send coat, I looked like I had falsies!!!
tarte has amazing mascara! In fact, one made my 2012 beauty favorites list! The new lights, camera, flashes™ mascara boasts to increase lash volume by a whopping 752% for an intensified look. Plus, the packaging in itself is just pretty. It’s a soft, metallic gold, faux leather case.
airbrush finish bamboo foundation brush (retail $32)
This brush is truly amazing. I like to use it to buff in my foundation rather than apply it. My only issue with it is that it is hard to get into smaller areas with it, but, the overall application of product with this brush is amazing, and it is soft! I like that the brush with the ‘journey to natural beauty’ collection has the same design as the travel bag.

I will not be able to use this shade once the summer comes. .:sigh:. I do like the natural finish, and to be a full-coverage foundation it is lightweight. Also, you really do not need a quarter-sized amount like they suggest. 5 shade options: fair, light, medium, tan, deep
Amazonian clay 12-hour blush (retail price $26)
tarte’s newest shade, ‘fearless’, which is a warm pink, adds a nice, warm, healthy glow, which instantly brightens up the face. It has shimmer. If you’re not a fan of shimmer, this blush may not be for you; however, when applied with a duo fiber brush you don’t get much shimmer. Honestly, on myself, the gold flecks look amazing on my skin; the blush does come off very pretty, and natural.

I’ve heard of Reviva Labs before, and good things at that. When Reviva Labs asked me to choose one or two of their products to review, I was more than happy to set aside my tried and true skincare staples, to start a new skincare regimen using Reviva Labs products. I requested to try the Reviva Labs Hawaiian Seaweed Facial Cleansing Milk ($8.00), and the Hawaiian Seaweed Mask($12.00). Both products are amazing in my opinion. In addition to receiving the cleansing milk and mask, I was also sent the Pomegranate Lactic Acid Exfoliant and their Makeup Primer #202, which I will review in another post.

After a little over a month of using the Reviva Labs Hawaiian Seaweed Facial Cleansing Milk, I must say that I am more than happy with the product, so much that I am contemplating replacing my favorite cleanser with the Reviva Labs Hawaiian Seaweed Facial Cleansing Milk for good. Before I completely finish this product, I decided to finally post my review on it.

My thoughts:
First, I’d like to say, Id id have my reservations about how well this product was going to clean my skin. I love when I have something that foams .:LOL:. Yes, I know that foaming doesn’t necessarily mean cleaner skin, but, in my head it makes sense. Please, let me live!
If you follow me on instagram, you already know that I love this cleanser, so lets get into why I am loving it so much. During the winter months, even though I try my best to keep my skin hydrated by drinking tons of water and moisturizing, there are times when that’s just not enough. I would say even after a few days of using the Reviva Labs Hawaiian Seaweed Facial Cleansing Milk my skin felt soft and smooth like butter! Even though the cleansing milk feels a tad bit greasy when washing off, no residue is left behind – you’re left with clean, smooth, hydrated skin. After using it, you don’t even need to apply a moisturizer, that’s how good it is!!! Usually, by mid-day, my forehead is glistening away, and with this, that is not the case.

I’ve used the Reviva Labs Hawaiian Seaweed Facial Cleansing Milk both day and night, and I’ve even tried it to remove makeup on my face and eyes. It works like a gem for both areas. Just remember, when using the Reviva Labs Hawaiian Seaweed Facial Cleansing Milk as a makeup remover, repeat the cleansing for a second time. Before Reviva Labs sent over their Pomegranate Lactic Acid Exfoliant, I stopped using my Clarisonic just to see how well the cleansing milk worked. My skin suffered no breakouts, clogged pores… nothing! So yeah, I fell in-love. I did try using the cleansing milk with my Clarisonic, I didn’t like it.
I know people purchase products or not, based on their scent. The Reviva Labs Hawaiian Seaweed Facial Cleansing Milk has a very light baby powder scent. To me, that’s what it smells like. The color of the product is a milky green. The texture of it reminds me of a lotion.
Would I recommend the Reviva Labs Hawaiian Seaweed Facial Cleansing Milk?
I would definitely recommend the Hawaiian Seaweed Facial Cleansing Milk! It’s perfect for all skin types, and it actually works for me and my oily t-zone. I also love that it isn’t expensive. I love when I don’t have to pay a ton of money for a product to work over an expensive product that doesn’t.
