Waxing is the best thing for me to do, especially since I am a mommy. It takes up less time, and I don’t have to worry about hair for weeks or months at times. When I received the Veet Ready-to-use Wax Strips, I was excited!

Directions
- Rub the wax strips between your hands to warm the wax.
- Slowly pull the strips apart.
- Apply the strips (toward the ankle, if using them on the legs) and rub repeatedly in the direction of the hair growth.
- Pull the strip back on itself very quickly and in 1 swift motion, keeping the strip as close to the skin as possible. Hold your skin taut to avoid discomfort.
- After waxing, remove any excess wax with a Perfect Finishing Wipes
My Thoughts
I first tried out the Veet Ready-to Use Wax Strips on my underarms one morning before heading out to work. I didn’t have time to use my Bliss Poetic wax, and since the Veet Ready-to-Use Wax Strips are supposed to save time, I thought they’d be perfect to use remove some underam hair before work. Boy was I wrong!
I followed the instructions carefully. My underarms were clean and dry. The wax strips picked up at least 4 hairs. .:SMH:. I tried using another strip, and received the same results. I was left with a gooey mess under my arms. I had to clean it off with the Perfect Finishing Wipes, which worked, and head to work.
I didn’t give up completely on the Veet Ready-to Use Wax Strips. I told myself, maybe my underarm hairs were too coarse. I ended up trying the product on my legs. The hair on my legs are sparse, and fine. I can go without waxing or shaving them for a long time. For some reason, most of the hair on my legs are on my knees. Weird, I know. I ended up testing it there first. I received the same results I had on my underarms on my legs. Unfortunately, this product does not work. I wish it had. It would be a great product. I’m happy it isn’t something I paid for, otherwise, I’d be really upset.
Would I recommend?
I would not recommend this product to anyone. You’re better off shaving, using a depilatory cream or purchasing the Bliss Poetic Microwaveable wax (see my review). The remaining strips I have are going in the garbage.
