Simplicity Hair Oil New Simplicity Moisture Conditioner

This Hair Care Tuesday, completes my review of the Simplicity Hair Oil products I purchased.  Last week, I reviewed the Simplicity Moisture Shampoo, and this week, it’s only right to talk about the New Simplicity Moisture Conditioner.

Simplicity Hair Oil Describes their New Simplicity Moisture Conditioner as

A blend of aloe vera, green tea leaf extract and grape seed oil deliver softer, shiner, hydrated hair. Easier to manage retain length due to reduced breakage and moisture levels remaining in the hair well beyond the conditioning phase.

The New Simplicity Moisture Conditioner is my favorite out of the line. It is everything! It makes my hair feel great! After using the conditioner sans heat, my hair is left soft, moisturized and manageable (no knots or tangles). The conditioner rinses clean, but there’s still enough slip left post rinse.  I also noticed that the conditioner works best as suggested on the packaging.

Simplicity Hair Oil suggests sealing in the conditioner with their Simplicity Hair Oil to help lock in the moisture.  It works well when using heat, too. I don’t have a heat cap, but I do have a hooded dryer that I sit under.  It definitely helps with making the New Simplicity Moisture Conditioner work better.

The texture of the Simplicity Hair Oil New Simplicity Moisture Conditioner is similar to other creamy conditioners I use, except it isn’t heavy.  To me, it’s more like a lotion.  Non-greasy and lightweight.  My hair, which is on the thinner side, isn’t weighed down afterwards.

Now, let’s get to the scent. The Simplicity Hair Oil New Simplicity Moisture Conditioner has a light floral, not quite herbal scent. It’s nice.  If scents bother you, you’d be happy to hear that it doesn’t linger on the hair long post wash.

I tend to be heavy handed when using hair conditioners, especially if I’m co-washing (not using shampoo, but conditioner instead to cleanse).  Do you know how easy it is for me to run through conditioner?  I tend to always have more shampoo left over than conditioner, and with this conditioner running $24.75/ 8.5 oz, which can be costly. But, I love it.

Overall, I’m happy with the results I’ve experienced using the Simplicity Hair Oil New Simplicity Moisture Conditioner along with the other Simplicity Hair Oil Products I’ve been using.  I would recommend it to anyone looking to increase moisture in their hair with a product that uses a blend of natural ingredients.

    • I'm glad you asked about co-washing. Maybe I should dedicate a post to talk about it. Cowashing is great if your hair tends to be on the dryer side or just absorbs moisture more rapidly than other hair types. Most shampoos strip your hair, and if you wash your hair with shampoo daily, it can lead to dryness, brittle hair, and hair damage. Co-washing prevents that because it adds moisture and cleanses. Most conditioners have cleansing agents, so it's like having two products in one. And you're left with awesome, moisturized and conditioned hair with less steps :0

  1. OK yeah I need this ASAP. My hair needs a good loving, and if this will do it. I am sold. I chemically straighten my hair, so it always ahs breakage no matter how much I try and give it TLC. So I think I need need NEED this!! I am also heavy handed with conditioner. lol…

    • I've seen people use the oil on chemically straightened hair. Their hair looked so silky. You should try it.

    • Yes! I bought the set when they put it on sale. I only bought it because Tamara said it grew back her edges lol don't laugh. But, it's good.

  2. I use very little conditioner. I wash my hair every 3-4 days to keep it healthy and apply a dime size of conditioner, otherwise it gets very oily fast.

    • I think the hair industry should take that into consideration. Make the shampoo's smaller and the conditioners larger. It's annoying lol

  3. I need to try this. Usually with conditioners I use them, then after my shower I towel dry my hair a bit and have to add another spray oil into my hair for moisture and I'd really like to eliminate a step in there!
