Dermalogica claims the Age smart Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 helps minimize skin-aging triggers. It is described as a medium-weight, emollient daily moisturizer with Broad Spectrum SPF50. It has “Patented Oleosome encapsulation technology boosts sunscreen effectiveness for critical protection against UV rays, while a unique polypeptide helps encourage collagen-producing activities.”
Benefits
- Provides long-lasting hydration and critical protection against UV light.
- Helps control the triggers that lead to skin aging.
- Blends smoothly into skin for a perfected finish.
The Dermalogica Age smart Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 is lightweight, and non-greasy, which is perfect for my combination oily skin. It blends into my skin well, and unlike other SPF products, it doesn’t leave a white cast on my skin. Although I can’t attest to the anti-aging claims of the Dermalogica Age smart Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50, I have noticed that after a month’s use, my skin is softer, supple, well-moisturized, and youthful.
I like that the Dermalogica Age smart Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 does not contain parabens, artificial colors or fragrance. Yes, there’s a light scent (I can’t place my finger on) to the Dermalogica Age smart Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50; however, it dissipates quickly. And again, you can barely smell it.
I know some people may love the pump dispenser packaging of the Dermalogica Age smart Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50, but, my concern comes when I fast forward to later on down the line when I’m close to the last drop. How will I be able to get it out? It’s a small concern, but a concern, nonetheless.
The Dermalogica is a great product to add to your skincare regimen if you are in the market for a moisturizer that helps fight the signs of aging, and protects your skin from the sun’s harmful rays. The Dermalogica Age smart Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 is available on the Dermalogica website for $65/ 1.7 oz, Ulta or Walgreens.com. If you’re interested in purchasing this product, or any other Dermalogica product, there’s a deal for $25 off any purchase of $150 or more at Dermalogica.com with code: Summer25 (valid until 7/31/14).

This looks like a great product. I haven't tried it, but I love Dermalogica!
I love Dermalogica, too.
I actually love that it comes in a pump. Love Dermalogica.

The pump is convenient initially.
LOVE that it has a pump!!
Sounds great! Ithink having trouble getting the last bit out is less of a concern to me than having skin care in a pot and risking bacteria growth

I'd prefer it in a squeeze tube. Bacteria growth concern if it's in a pot or jar is a good concern, especially if you don't wash your hands prior to applying the product, any product, to your face.
I like products that come in a pump, especially if they contain ingredients that can oxidize easily, like vitamins. This looks like a nice product!

Good point.
Love that it doesn't have that white cast. Ain't nobody got time for that! (I've taken the pump off of similar products by wrapping a rubber band around the top for better grip, and pull! Use needle-nosed pliers to pull out the pump mechanism underneath, and then use a spatula to get out the rest of your product. I even refilled a lotion pump because I just liked the pump!)

Great post. I have this but yet to try it.
Hummm. I just looked up the ingredient. I'll have to do some research on this as I'm not sure it is photo stable, but I like the fact that it's a chemical versus physical sunscreen. ! 🙂
