The collection, named Modern Kabuki, has a range of dramatic colours, with a lot of crimsons and golds – a reflection of Kabuki theatre. Everything down to the packaging has a Japanese inspiration, and I love the small detailing that has gone into the design of them all – especially the eyeshadow palette, which is packaged like a gift; something borrowed from the Japanese culture of gift-giving.
