Just in-time for the holidays: Best App for Gift Card Users – SWAGG

SWAGG has launched a new app (released on December 8, 2010) that deals with the troublesome problem of how to deal with the overabundance of gift cards, loyalty & membership cards that clutter up your wallet or handbag.   Basically,  you can load all of those gift cards, loyalty points, etc into your iPhone or Android mobile device.

Users can give and exchange gift cards from more than 250 retailers. The app also alerts you to deals that can be used either in-store and online. SWAGG is available for free from the App Store and the Android Market.

SWAGG allows users to import gift card information to a smart phone; so you can ditch the physical card completely. The app helps you keep track of balances and expiration dates so you can get the most out of your present.

Today, I went to the salon (of course), and I since I wanted to try something new without doing something permanent, I decided to do what you will see in the pic.  I was getting bored with my hair!

I’m not sure if I like it too much….


For my FOTD I went for a bright lip and a neutral eye.

OPI Black Shatter Top Coat – January 2011

OPI’s Black Shatter Nail Polish from Katy Perry + Serena Williams’ Collection is going to be released in January of 2011, and I can’t wait!

There are other bright, funky, sparkly colors in the line, but what interests me most is the Black Shatter!

What is it?

Black texturizing top coat

What’s so special about it?

You are able to paint it on top of any color, and as it dries, it begins to break apart until it looks like it’s been shattered to pieces. The thinner the coat, the more it cracks, so you end up creating an almost leopard-print pattern. Brush on a heavier layer, and the effect is completely different—the polish that’s underneath will peak out from behind larger chunks of black.

Being that I am so impatient, I did some research and found Barry M’s Instant Nail Effects and found that it was something similar to the Black Shatter.  I ordered it today (Thursday, December 9, 2010).  When it comes, I will definitely post pics and a review.

 

Until then, I am waiting patiently for January OR maybe the folks over at OPI will send me a bottle to review .:wink wink:.
