During the two-day event, The Makeup Show is offering six hour and a half long  keynote & business forums for FREE to The Makeup Show Attendees.  This year, attendees have the opportunity to learn from the greats in the professional makeup and beauty business, such as Sam Fine, Dany Sanz, Billy B. and more. These are great to listen to, especially if you can’t afford to attend any of the hands-on workshops.

The Art of Freestyle with Dany Sanz 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

In this session, Dany will take you along for a creative journey and will demonstrate that you don’t always have to have a plan to create your own makeup masterpiece.

 

 

 

A Career in Makeup with Sam Fine 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM

Listen as Sam discusses his career includinghis experience as the first African-American artist to represent Revlon and Cover girl Cosmetics and hear his tips on how to take yourself to the next level while he demonstrates the techniques that have made them the industry-standard for pro artistry as seen in his his best-selling book, Fine Beauty. Sam will also be introducing his first instructional DVD, Fine: The Basics of Beauty which will be available for purchase to all artists attending The Makeup Show.

 

A Career in Makeup with Reggie Wells 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM

In this keynote he will talk about his ground-breaking career, share his steps to creating a flawless face and share the secrets to the designing the perfect makeup as he has done with his many celebrity clients such as Chaka Khan, Diahann Carroll, Oprah Winfrey, Iman, Whitney Houston, Beyonce, and more.

A Career in Makeup with Jeanine Lobell 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

In this keynote Jeanine will share some of her experiences with both being an artist and an entrepreneur, talk about her exciting new role at Kevyn Aucoin, give insight into making a place for yourself in this industry and tell you about some of her techniques to creating a beautiful makeup.

 

 

 

Making Up with Patti Dubroff 12:30PM – 2:00 PM

She will showcase some of the tricks and techniques that make her the go to artist for clients including Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Biel, Miley Cyrus, Eva Mendes, Julianne Moore, Drew Barrymore and Gisele Bundchen, and discuss her career while offering tips on how to take yourself to the next level.

 

 

 

The Business of Beauty-The Good, The Bad, The Ugly with Billy B. 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM

He will chat with you and other makeup artists about what it takes to “B” a makeup artist, what it takes to “B” a GREAT makeup artist and what it takes to “B” a successful makeup artist, and WHY those 3 don’t necessarily go hand in hand. Benefit from the man who has conquered all aspects of the Business of Beauty and hear the truth about the parts of our Beauty Business that sometimes get ugly. “B” sure you Buckle your seat belts Honey’s B Cause…… you might laugh and you might cry, but you can be sure..it will “B” eye opening and maybe even a “mind changing”…… Bumpy ride….

 

I’m hoping to get there early enough on both days to try to listen to all of them speak.  I definitely want to hear Billy B. and see Sam Fine again.
