Christmas Wish list Part I – Clothes & Shoes

Here are a few things I would like to receive for Christmas…

The first item on my list is a new winter coat. I have not bought a winter coat since my sophomore year at Hofstra! That’s about 8 years ago. I’m due for another. My coat now is in great shape, but, I still want something new. My friend suggested I check Land’s End because their coats are warm, cute and come in a variety of colors.

I’m due for a new bag. If you know me, I am all for Cole Haan bags. That’s what most of my bags are now. I am feeling this Vintage Valise Kendra bag in Prussian Blue.

This is basically it for the fashion side of things. I also want some cute accessories. I need a whole new wardrobe, especially since after having a baby, nothing fits the same. I lost more than I gained during pregnancy 🙁

NYC Networking Event/Wine Tasting: Battle of the Sexes

Battle of the Sexes Wine Tasting.

Your average wine tasting event in the city is about $50-60 a pop! Our tickets are only $25 and you get a lot for your buck – lots of fun people, it’s from 7-9PM so lots of time to hang out, you’ll get the chance to try several different types of wine (last time it was 7 different ones and everyone got plenty to drink), you can feast on meat, cheese and bread and its a competition – battle of the sexes, so one team will walk away with a prize! It’s a fun event to bring friends to, a date, or co-workers.

Sephora has 20% off for VIB and Friends (see post). Since I didn’t get everything I wanted from my last list, and yesterday I received in the mail a new Sephora Holiday catalog with tons of beauty goodness, I am adding MORE things to my wishlist. These are also items the beauty fanatic in your life may crave!

L’Occitane products. I’ve been wanting to try their handcreams for a while. I recently saw a great review for them, by recommendation of Carmen. I saw a few gift sets on Sephora.com that I want.

Fresh Face Soy Cleanser Sephora

I’ve been wanting to try the Fresh Soy Cleanser as well. especially since I’ve used their Fresh Soy Face Exfoliant. It’s amaze!

Nails, Inc. Magnetic Nails is another item on my list. I’ve wanted to try this since seeing Her Goody Bag post about it in July. I indulged in the crackle craze. This seems to be cool-er.
