Makeup artistry is constantly changing with the times. Whether you [think] you know-it-all or not, it’s always good to learn new techniques, and brush-up on your current skills to advance your career as a makeup artist.
I was excited to see the email from Make Up For Ever announcing their new Make Up For Ever NY Academy, which will offer classes in beauty & fashion, film & tv. as well as artistic & stage makeup. Each class (module) will vary in length from 7 – 20 weeks. From looking at the schedule, it seems like the classes will take place during the day between the hours of 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Unfortunately for me that will not work since I have a full-time day job. For those of you who are able to take advantage of this, I’d say go for it!
Deadline to apply for our first series of classes is December 1st, so apply now! Classes start January 9th. A full schedule of the rest of our 2012 sessions is also available.
