Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater

I must admit that I have not used a toner in forever – years maybe.  Strike me dead for committing this beauty sin, however, my skin hasn’t suffered, or so I thought until after trying the Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater.

The Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater is described as follows:

“A  refreshing, hydrating mist to use anywhere anytime. Simply formulated with fragrant Herbal Extracts and Rosewater for a pleasant, pick me up for dehydrated, tight and uncomfortable skin. Spray your day and night creams for a boost of hydration or use it to set make-up or spray on dry hair throughout the day.  Safe for all skin types.  Gentle, non-irritating.”

I’ve heard great things about Mario Badescu products as a whole.  I’ve purchased the drying lotion for my sister, which she said worked.  I’ve always wanted to test other Mario Badescu products, so when I had the opportunity to try out the Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater, I was more than happy to do so.

My thoughts:

The Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater is of a light rose tint, and has a sweet rose fragrance, that I do not mind. I often find myself misting my face several times to indulge in the wonderful scent of the spray.

I used this spray right after cleansing my face, to keep my skin damp before applying a moisturizer.  I’ve also applied it with a cotton pad as a toner of sorts. It worked well both ways.  The Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater worked well for me in that it kept my skin moisturized, and made it feel fresh.  My skin seemed brighter and clearer, and I also loved the dewy effect that it gave.  The spray does so well in moisturizing my skin, that during NYC’s most recent heat wave I just sprayed my skin with that and used a light SPF product, and went. At night, I used the spray alone sans moisturizer, and my skin still felt soft and moist.

Although the spray can be used to set your makeup, I haven’t tried it for that purpose.

Would I recommend the Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater?

Priced at $7.00 for 4 oz, I would definitely purchase the Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater again.  It also comes in an 8 oz bottle for $12.  What I also love about this spray, next to the scent and price is that is actually comes out as a fine mist, which is very refreshing. It’s perfect for those hot summer days, as I mentioned above.  The Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater has been the perfect addition to my current skincare regimen.

  1. I love the benefits but I can't handle the rose smell… I don't mind it in Chanel blushes but in this it bothers me. =(
