This time, since Influenster sent over the Montagne Jeuness Chocolate Masque, I decided to give it a try. I used it as directed, after thoroughly cleansing my skin with my Cerave hydrating facial cleanser. After the application, I had enough left over to use a second time. I had on makeup, and this cleanser removes makeup easily and thoroughly with one wash. Afterwards, I applied a layer of the Montagne Jeunesse Chocolate Masque to my face and let it dry. I’d say it took about 15-20 minutes for it to dry completely because it is so thick.
My Thoughts:
The Montagne Jeunesse Chocolate Masque is super thick. It went on smoothly, and the best part of it all, if you like chocolate, is the scent. It smelled good enough to eat. I will admit, I was tempted to taste it (don’t judge me). The mask took a while to dry, as I stated above. That didn’t bother me, I usually let my masks sit on my face while I’m doing something else around the house anyway. When the mask does dry, and you stretch your face, it begins to crumble off.
I didn’t have any trouble with it rinsing off, I did use a face cloth though, so that could have been why. After washing it off, I did not see any immediate differences; however, the next morning, my skin was softer, smoother, and looked better.
Would I recommend?
It wouldn’t hurt to try the mask for the price. I experienced no break outs from using it. If I came across it in a store, I would purchase it again.
Disclosure: The Montagne Jeunesse Chocolate Masque item was provided to me for free through Influenster.com. I was not paid for this post, nor will I be compensated. The opinions are my own, and are 100% honest.
I would be tempted to lick it too lol
