Nine days ago, I informed you (see post) of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics first flagship boutique.  This evening, I had the opportunity to attend a press preview of the new boutique before it opens to the public on September 23, 2011.  Queen of blending was there along with my blogging homey, Carmen from Lipstick.Fashion.Mascara

The boutique is located at 170 Ludlow Street of New York City’s hip Lower East side.  The boutique is small & cute, and definitely fits the location.

I had the opportunity to swatch a few of the new lip tars & pigments from the Pretty Boy Fall/Winter 2011 Collection.  My favorite lip tar’s from this new collection are “Pretty Boy”, a “rich saturated fuschia,” and “Queen”, an “intense, nearly-neon red/pink.”

I was also able to swatch a few of the loose colour concentrates, and pure colour pigments, each of which are $12/2.5g (FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY! Try Loose Colours at 25% OFF! Get all permanent shades for only $9.00 USD!).  My favorite was the “Cruising” Loose Colour concentrate, which OCC describes as a “brassy, gold shimmer.”

Love their polishes too!

The best thing about them, you only need ONE coat & it lasts!

They served white wine, mojitos, and these soy “fried chicken legs” that were so good!

  1. These products look FAB and are so heavily pigmented! I've been considering trying OCC for a while but was hesitant however this post confirmed my decision. I will be definitely checking OCC out. Thanks!
