New York, NY (May 2011) – The Makeup Show NYC is thrilled to welcome NARS to their first New York show ever.  Not only will NARS be using The Makeup Show as a platform to showcase their current launches, but attendees will be excited to try out PRO-PRIME, a category of priming products created with the makeup artist in mind! NARS will even be giving a sneak peak of their Fall 2011 launches, which will include new eyeliners, concealers and lip glosses! You will not want to miss them at the show as they will also be debuting their Makeup Artist Enrichment Program, a re-vamped and updated version of their discount program.

The first 500 artists to register will receive a free iconic NARS Orgasm Multiple!

But that’s not all. After picking up these products be sure to get inspired from NARS’s International Lead Makeup Artist, Uzo.  Uzo will be recreating one of the looks from Francois Nars’ newest book, Makeup Your Mind: Express Yourself on Monday, May 16 from 1pm to 2:30pm.  This book is a sequel to Makeup Your Mind, the ultimate beauty manual photographed by François Nars featuring before and after images of top models. A clear acetate page in between the “before” and “after” shots demonstrates where, on the face, the products were applied to achieve the final look. Makeup Your Mind: Express Yourself turns the lens on real men and women who were street-casted in New York City and photographed by François. Check out the website makeupyourmind.com, where you can recreate twelve selected looks from the book, and upload your photos for a chance to win a trip backstage to New York Fashion Week with the brand (including hotel accommodations, flight, and dinner!).

The Makeup Show NYC is held on Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 9am to 6pm and on Monday, May 16, 2011 from 9am to 5pm at Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 West 18th Street, New York, NY.

3 Comments on NARS Reveals PRO-PRIME @TheMakeupShow NY & Fall 2011 Products!

  1. I was really excited that NARS had joined the Makeupshow this year, but was quickly dissapointed when I got to the booth and they weren't selling any products. I hope they come back next year with the intent of selling things. (even if they take orders and ship it after.)
